Leupold Introduces New Northfork Binocular Line
BEAVERTON, OREGON – Leupold® has combined premium features and advanced optical performance with a sleek, single hinge design in its newest line of binoculars, the Northfork™ Series.
The binoculars’ futuristic design incorporates a single, slim hinge near the eyecups – similar to an open-bridge style without a hinge near the objective lenses. This configuration allows for an increased level of comfort and ergonomics since both hands can wrap around the barrels.
“The design of the Northfork makes them very comfortable to operate for extended periods in the field,” commented Mike Slack, Leupold’s marketing communications manager. “Hunters get premium quality and image clarity at a mid-level price.”
The Northfork line features 45mm objective lenses and Super High Reflection prism enhancement. Combined with a fully multi-coated lens system and additional anti-reflection coatings on the BAK4 prisms, the binoculars provide hunters with a sharp, bright image in virtually any light or weather conditions. The Northfork’s long eye relief makes them ideal for any hunter with or without eyeglasses. With a close focus of less than 10 feet and an angular field of view of more than six degrees, the Northfork is versatile enough to handle everything from calling turkeys in thick timber to stalking antelope on the wide-open prairie.
Models available include 8.5x45mm or 10.5x45mm with either black or Mossy Oak® Break-Up® armor coating. The binoculars include a case, padded-edge neoprene neck strap, and eyepiece and objective lens covers. The Northfork is protected by the Leupold Green Ring™ Limited Lifetime Warranty.
