Rock Island Auction Company – -(AmmoLand.com)- Single raised nickel bead on the barrel, which has been shortened to its current length, cylinder choke, with “P/ bomb” and “* * *” on the left side of the breech and 2 3/4 inch chamber.

The “P/ bomb” is repeated on the left side of the frame, near the “U.S.” stamp, with “S/ M” on the lower tang and a ribbed sighting groove on top.

Checkered and grooved forearm, smooth pistol grip stock and serrated buttplate.

Condition:
Altered, with 80% of the blue finish, showing hints of a brown patina on the barrel, streaks of gray on the frame, and mild scratches and handling marks overall. Mismatched wood, with a filled area on the left side of the forearm and mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent. ( See RIA Auction for Exact Condition Details)

i too have a 720 war time marked with a chromed barrel and all it has is a small chip in the stock and it is also engraved and I was told it is worth 800-1000 dollars because it is a rare riot gun .So info please on why it has a chrome barrel.

Tim, i think you are being very generous on this weapon.I have seen much,much better conditioned weapons on the guns america site fo as much as $300 dollars less on the low end and this one has been modified.
