Overland Park, KS – -(AmmoLand.com)- The new Legend 1200 ARC laser rangefinder from Bushnell raises the bar in ranging performance with its 1,200 yard capability. Designed in a vertical configuration for single-handed use, it is the perfect tool for bow and rifle hunters with ranging performance from 5 to 1,200 yards. It also incorporates the proven Angle Range Compensation (ARC) technology in Rifle and Bow Modes that determines holdover on long range rifle shots, and true horizontal distance for bow hunters.

A new feature in the Legend 1200 is Variable Sight-In Distance capability or VSI. In the rifle mode, users can select between 100,150, 200 or 300 yard sight-in distances to accommodate their shooting styles and preferences. They can also choose between Inches and MOA for holdover on longer shots. The range of angle measurement is -90 to +90 degrees.

The Legend 1200 ARC is rubber armored and fully waterproof and submersible to meet IPX7 waterproof specification. All external lens surfaces are coated with RainGuard HD and the optics are fully multi-coated. Other standard features include SCAN, Bulls Eye and Brush Modes for better targeting and accuracy, and a 6x magnification for long distance ranging and viewing. It comes with a carrying case, lanyard and 3-volt CR2 battery. It is available in black and Realtree AP camouflage at Bushnell dealers nationwide.

Retail price $349.

In my experience, Bushnell has been making steady improvements in their Rangefinders. The quality of glass components has improved along with more rugged design and higher attention to fit and finish of the laser rangefinders. Compared to other brands, I would strongly recommend these models for anyone interested in golf laser rangefinder.
