Washington, DC – -(AmmoLand.com)- On July 15, the Grassroots Division conducted another successful NRA University program on Capitol Hill for D.C.-area interns. NRA University (NRA U) is a three-hour training seminar for those interested in learning more about NRA, the Second Amendment, and the gun control debate.

An enthusiastic crowd of 64 interns gathered at the Longworth House Office Building, and NRAILA staff members Brent Gardner and Katrina Lauzon addressed the myths of gun control, covering topics such as the history of the Second Amendment, the use of guns for self-defense, and solutions to reducing firearm accidents. All of the attendees signed on as NRA members and 42 also enrolled in the NRA-ILA FrontLines™ Volunteer Program.
