Armalite® introduced the new SPR Mod 1 Continuous Optics Platform (COP™) system as a whole .223 carbine at January’s SHOT Show. The SPR Mod 1 carbine is a forged, one-piece upper receiver/rail system with exclusive detachable side and bottom rails.
Because of many customer requests, the development of the COP system as a separate parts kit was close behind. The ArmaLite “COP Kit” lets you build your upper the way YOU want it. Then, you can attach it to your favorite lower to build the whole gun you’ve always wanted!
With the COP Kit, you can change your 1913 rails to fit your changing needs for sights… lights… lasers… grips… or swivels.
Because the continuous optics platform is one piece, there’s no gap to bridge between receiver and upper rail when installing your scope or sights. This one-piece construction’s strength and rigidity will also keep your sights zeroed in the most trying conditions.
