Frostproof, Florida –-(Ammoland.com)- The International Defensive Pistol Association is pleased to announce that Yamil Sued will be joining us at the Inaugural World Championship, September 21 – 24, in Frostproof, Florida as the official Match Photographer.

Yamil is well known throughout the Firearms Industry as the Master Photographer. He graduated in 1985 from Brooks Institute of Photography with a double major in Illustration Photography and Color Technology.

He has spent the last 17 years photographing for the ‘Who’s Who’ of the Industry. Some of his well-known clients include: Brownell’s, Smith & Wesson, Glock, Dillon Precision, Leupold, Aimpoint, Starline Brass, Sierra Bullets, Springfield Armory, Harris Publications, CorBon, Safariland, Surefire, and Shooting USA. He also spent 2 ½ years as a staff photographer for Cabela’s!

One of the most important aspects of Yamil’s dynamic career is that he is also a shooter. This gives him unique perspectives in looking for those really great shots – both in the match and behind the camera. He has participated with USPSA since 1994 and IDPA since the inaugural event, the Columbia Invitational in 1996. He is classified in both USPSA and IDPA. He has shot the USPSA Nationals seven times with both a gun and a camera since 1995.

In his free time (which he has very little of), he also enjoys collecting GI Joes, Jazz Music and WWII history. IDPA is thrilled that we could book into his incredibly busy schedule.

So when you’re on the range at the match, remember to smile – you’re probably on one of Yamil’s many cameras!
