VanderWoude Named to NSSF Range Advisory Committee
NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- Doug VanderWoude, range program manager for AcuSport Corporation, is the newest member of the NSSF Range Advisory Committee.
His 30-year career began as a firearms and fishing tackle buyer for a retail store and included later successfully founding an indoor range and retail operation, all qualifying him perfectly for this advisory committee.
The committee is a guiding force in NSSF’s range-policy development and -decision making, and as a committee member, VanderWoude will assist NSSF members who are either researching the idea of opening a range/retail store or looking for ways to improve their sales practices.
“Having been in 85 different ranges in the last 12 months, I am happy to share my observations,” he said.
