Virginia – -(Ammoland.com)- On September 18, 2011, the Bedford Rifle and Revolver Club, a VSSA affiliated club, hosted the 2011 Cardinal Cup.

The match was the 2nd largest Action Pistol match in the country.

The only larger participation was at the Bianchi Cup National Action Pistol Championship back in May.

There were 51 shooters firing 64 guns, including 2 Junior shooters who both set National Records, 14 Senior shooters who set 10 National records, and shooters coming from as far away as Canada & California. Between the State & Regional matches there were 27 records set that weekend, 13 of those by VA shooters.

Full results can be seen at the club’s web site.
