Indiana Senate Overwhelmingly Passes Switchblade Bill SB06

Gilbert, AZ –-(Ammoland.com)- On Thursday of this past week the Indiana Senate voted overwhelmingly, 46-1, to pass SB06.

At Knife Rights requested initiative sponsored by Senators Jim Tomes and Johnny Nugent, which would overturn the state’s antiquated and irrational ban on the possession of switchblade/automatic knives.

Next stop is the Indiana House of Representatives (the timing of which is up in the air right now with the boycott by Indiana House Democrats and related partisan political bickering that has virtually shut down the House).

We’ll let you know as soon as this bill is moving in the House.

In North Carolina, where I live, it is legal for a one-armed man to own a switchblade. Just common sense, I guess.
