Ohio –-(Ammoland.com)- After months of intense research, Buckeye Firearms Association today announced grades and endorsements for candidates running for office in the 2012 Ohio general election.

We have graded more than 250 candidates on their support for gun rights in Ohio. Of these, 109 candidates earned our highly coveted official endorsement.

These include candidates running for the U.S. House and Senate, Ohio Supreme Court, Ohio Senate, Ohio House, Court of Appeals, Sheriff, and other offices.

“The Second Amendment is a cornerstone of our individual rights in the United States and here in Ohio,” said Jim Irvine, Chairman of Buckeye Firearms Association.

“That’s why we put so much effort into our candidate grades and issue our endorsements with great care. Citizens get the public servants they deserve. So if you want to protect your Second Amendment rights, you have to vote for candidates who understand and respect those rights.”
