ST LOUIS, MO –-(Ammoland.com)- The folks at Heizer Firearms want everyone to know that we are very close to shipping out the first DoubleTap Tactical Pocket Pistols.

So what’s been the hang-up, you ask?

Well, you have to admit that the folks at Heizer and LBM did a great job getting the word out about this revolutionary concealed carry pistol, so the last thing Heizer would want to do is disappoint people with a sub-par product.

Instead, the team at Heizer tested and tested and made refinements along the way. Although you may think any refinements in this revolutionary pistol would be overkill, Heizer isn’t in the business to make disposable pistols.

The DoubleTap may be small, but it will be mighty!

Take for instance the patent-pending double-action trigger system. Initially, one of the revolutionary features of this system was the ball bearing component, producing a smooth, and I mean smooth, trigger pull. Even after designing this unique system, Heizer engineers weren’t satisfied.

It had to be EVEN better. So the Heizer team dug into their engineering history books and came up with a “needle” bearing system.

Why the needle bearing system over the ball bearing? Because good isn’t good enough; it had to be exceptional and STRONG! The needle-bearing system has about 20 “needle” bearings in a row versus the five balls in the initial system.

The needle bearing has a considerable more “roller” area than the ball bearing, hence making it stronger under pressure. Just one more reason the DoubleTap will change firearms history as we know it.
