North Haven, CT –-(Ammoland.com)- O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. introduced its unprecedented FLEX Shotgun System in 2012, launching a new concept in modular shotguns and accessories.

Now Mossberg brings the FLEX TLS (Tool-less Locking System) to its family of MVP Series Bolt-Actions with the introduction of seven new offerings of the Mossberg MVP FLEX Rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO (223 Rem) including a Youth version.

The patented and patent-pending FLEX TLS System allows the user to remove and remount the rifle’s stock without tools in seconds; and with multiple stocks in various finishes and the ability to interchange recoil pads, you can adapt your rifle for fit and application. The Mossberg MVP FLEX Bolt-Action Rifle is available in two barrel lengths (20-inch sporter and 18 ½-inch medium bull) and with optional threaded barrels featuring A2-style flash suppressors. Scoped Combo versions and a Youth model with 12 ¾-inch LOP are also offered.

Innovation is at the core of the MVP FLEX Rifle. Introduced in 2011, the Mossberg MVP Series delivered a bolt-action engineering breakthrough with the MVP’s patent-pending Drop-Push bolt, designed to accept and reliably feed from AR-style magazines. Adding to the rifle’s precision performance is the patented Mossberg LBA™ (Lightning Bolt Action™) Adjustable Trigger System which is user-adjustable from 2 to 7 pounds. Even at the lightest adjustment setting, the unique lightning bolt trigger blade blocks the sear from releasing the striker unless the blade is fully depressed. Other standard features on the MVP FLEX Rifles include fluted, button-rifled barrels with a 1:9 twist rate; FLEX 6-position tactical stock (Youth version has FLEX 12-inch LOP stock); durable matte blue finish on exposed metalwork; factory-installed, receiver-mounted Picatinny rails; distinctive spiral-fluted bolts; front and rear sling swivel studs; and 10-round capacity magazines.

FLEX your MVP rifle stock and recoil pad to fit individual shooters or to set-up your rifle for a specific application by changing the 6-position tactical stock to standard black or camo FLEX stocks with 12, 13 or 14-inch LOP options or choose the 4-position adjustable hunting stock with dual combs. Standard FLEX stocks also allow for interchangeability of recoil pads, again with a simple TLS connection and choice of small (¾-inch), medium (1 ¼-inch) or large (1 ½-inch) FLEX accessory recoil pads. FLEX stocks and recoil pads will fit both FLEX shotguns and MVP FLEX rifles.

MVP FLEX Bolt-Action 20-Inch Sporter Rifles – Available in four versions: Sporter Fluted (27743) with all standard features list above; Sporter Fluted Scoped Combo (27747) featuring factory-mounted 3-9x32mm variable riflescope with illuminated reticle; Sporter Fluted Threaded (27745) with optional threaded barrel, mounted A2-style flash suppressor and thread cap; and Youth Sporter Fluted (27749) featuring a compact FLEX Standard black synthetic stock with 12 ¾-inch LOP. MSRP: $928 – $1098

MVP FLEX Bolt-Action 18 ½-Inch Medium Bull Rifles – Three versions feature this more compact barrel with 11-degree tapered muzzle crown: Medium Bull Fluted (27744) with all standard features; Medium Bull Fluted Scoped Combo (27748) featuring factory-mounted 3-9x32mm variable riflescope with illuminated reticle; and Medium Bull Fluted Threaded (27746) with optional threaded barrel, mounted A2-style flash suppressor and thread cap. Has anyone found if you can fit the flex stock and forestock to the MVP patrol 16″

I own an mvp predator with the laminate stock. I called Mossberg because I am interested in a different stock as the laminate stock would need to be pillar bedded etc to work really well. Mossberg customer service advised the synthetic stocks are not for sale and the flex stock is not compatible with the mvp predator and varmint. No plans as of yet to offer the synthetic stock for sale.

I have the MVP Patrol and have the same question. Can I get a FLEX stock to put on it ? The Mossberg CSR was not much help.

I have recently purchased a MVP Predator. Although I love the look and feel of the laminate stock it came with, I’m very interested in the Flex System Stock. Could you tell me where can I purchase one for my rifle and how much do they cost. I have been on the Mossberg website but they are not offering the stock by itself.
