Trenton, NJ --(Ammoland.com)- Hours after the New Jersey Freedom Rally, with over 1000 attendees that braves pouring cold rains, ended, Anti-Gun Democrats in the Assembly announced they would hurry a package of 24 gun-control bills, most of which had previously been introduced, through the legislative process starting next week.

They hope to vote on the measures Feb. 21. 2013 while they can still capitalize on the tragedy of the Connecticut School Shooting.

Those proposals, along with other gun control measures introduced in the weeks since the Newtown, Conn., shooting, drew particular ire from the rally attendees.

The legislation identified as a priority by Democrats includes a prohibition on magazines capable of carrying more than 10 rounds and a requirement that all private gun sales – those between one individual and another – include a background check.

Democratic legislators have argued that New Jersey’s existing gun laws – which are considered some of the strictest in the country – could be tightened.

    1. Notice they don’t even say a ‘violence task force’ : AR133- Expresses support for creation of task force on gun control led by Vice President Biden.
Traitors and oath breakers, all of them, ‘support and defend the constitution’…

    2. I thank God that I live in America and not The Peoples Republic of New Jersey, where only the bad guys and cops(same thing)are armed.

    3. Just email all these bastards in your state and tell them that any vote against guns of a free people will be millions of votes against them in the next election. That is the only thing these greedy bastards understand. They are betting that you will forget how they voted. No matter if they are democrats or republicans, they need to be gone.

    4. I’m glad I don’t live in new jersey. What I want to see is a wholesale move to conservatism in these blue states. I won’t ever go there until there is a change in their infringing politics.

    5. I just read yesterday that NJ was #1 for number of outbound moves (people fleeing the state) of the top 10 in the US for 2012, and looking good to hold that spot for 2013 and 2014. There is of course a litany of reasons for this happening. One has to wonder tho if the Legislators are not out to intentionally KEEP the title. Seems the voice of the people is of ZERO value in trying to change any minds in that legislature. Hope they are not trend setters!

    6. I keep telling people that we can’t fix the corrupt system by doing what we have always done. These “feel good” protest and every other Constitutional way of telling our SELECTED representatives just does not work any more!

    7. I am sorry to see those in the CAlifornia are up against the same rules & regulations like we had to answer to PERSONAL QUESTIONS, to a Cdn Firearms Safety Course we had to pass with high marks.

Also once a year we must renew our PAL (being the short letters we use).

Tack on you cannnot use any form of f/arms for home, family or you name it.

In Province of Ontario a cha noted Molitive Cocktails were throwen to set his home on fire. He stepped out of his home for fire a few rounds into the air & when RCMP arrived he was 100% wrong to what the fine was I do not know exactly, but his f/arms were confinscated & knowing a few other such cases so was their reloaders, to the powder to primers to any data one might have on guns or reloading.

    8. I hope all of us remember this and get very involved in the next election and take all these scumbags out of office and replace them with like minded people that are on our side.
