In order to sign his petition, you must be a registered voter in District 33, which consists of Northern Jersey City, Weehawken, Hoboken and Union City. Anthony is running as a Democrat, so you must be a registered Democrat or be willing to declare yourself as a Democrat or change your party affiliation to Democrat prior to the Primary Election in June. Forms will be on hand at this event to allow you to do so.
Don’t forget, the real battle in District 33 is the Democrat Primary as this district, like many others, have been gerrymandered to preclude the possibility of a Republican winning in the general election.
Those of you who attended the public hearing of the Law and Public Safety Committee on February 13th will recognize the name of Assemblyman Sean Connors, a member of the committee, who participated in the unjust and unfair treatment of the more than 500 people who traveled to Trenton to testify that day. Assemblyman Connors is from district 33 and is running for reelection.
Please join Anthony this Wednesday and help him get on the ballot and force Assemblyman Connors to fight for his job in the primary.
