Osseo, MI –-(Ammoland.com)- Participate in Lucky Buck Mineral’s unique shed antler photography study now through June 1, 2013, to receive free buckets of Lucky Buck Mineral.

Have you ever wondered how quickly mice, porcupines and other critters find shed antlers and eat them? Have you ever wondered how many different types of animals eat shed antlers? Lucky Buck Mineral is giving anyone interested in finding out which animals eat shed antlers and how quickly they get devoured after being shed an opportunity to do some research and receive free buckets of Lucky Buck Mineral. Here is how it works.

To participate in the study, simply tether a shed antler in front of a scouting camera and capture images of the shed antler being eaten.

Next, send your images via e-mail to [email protected] with a time stamp or description of the site location like “fence row” or “corn field” and when the image was taken. All images must be submitted to Lucky Buck by June 1st, 2013.

Anyone willing to take the time to participate in the study and submit a photo of an animal eating an antler will receive six free buckets of Lucky Buck, a Lucky Buck hat and a shirt.

The goal of the Lucky Buck study is to determine how many different species of animals feed on shed antlers and how quickly shed antlers get fed upon after they are dropped.

“We thought this would be a fun way for whitetail deer hunters to learn more about shed antlers and what eats them and when,” Lucky Buck’s Dave Wheeler says. “At the same time, this study will give hunters a reason to use their scouting cameras at a time of year when many hunters aren’t using them.”

Lucky Buck Mineral is one of the most popular deer minerals on the market. Lucky Buck Mineral helps deer stay healthy and strong all year so they can produce healthy fawns and grow large racks. The best time to use Lucky Buck is in the spring and summer.

Do you use scouting cameras all year? Place Lucky Buck on the ground in front of your camera instead of corn or feed. One bucket of Lucky Buck poured out in front of a camera will last longer and benefit more deer than most attractants and it won’t rot.
