Minnetonka, MN –-(Ammoland.com)- North American Hunter, the premier community for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, is proud to announce the first annual North American Hunter’s Social Choice Awards, a socially driven poll-based award program that is unlike other industry award programs.

North American Hunter is on the hunt to find the best “Magnum Gobbler Gun” and “Strut-Stopper Load” during the “Turkey Edition” of the awards. Plans are in the works to release other editions this year.

Voting takes place now until May 31 on North American Hunter’s Facebook page. The winners in each category will receive an award, be featured on NAH’s main site and a blog post. The “Social Media Awards” are completely driven by social media – specifically by using a poll on North American Hunters Facebook page.

“We know our member hunting enthusiasts are using social media to share reviews, show new product finds and otherwise engage on the latest in hunting gear. It made sense for us to poll them for this turkey season to see what our fans think are the best products out there,” said Ben Gustafson, Social Media Editor.

The following products are being polled in the “Magnum Gobbler Gun” category:

  • Winchester: Super X Pump Turkey Hunter
  • The following products are being polled in the “Strut-Stopper Load” category:

  • HEVI-Shot: Hevi-Metal Turkey
  • Hornady: Heavy Magnum Turkey
  • Kent: Five Star Penetrator Hybrid Turkey
  • Remington: Premier High Velocity Magnum Turkey
  • Winchester: Supreme Elite Xtended Range HD
