Hawaii: Honolulu City Council to Hear Pro-Gun Resolution Tomorrow

NRA-ILA
NRA – ILA

Charlotte, NC –-(Ammoland.com)-  Resolution 13-74 CD1, introduced by council members Ron Menor and Kymberly Pine, will be heard tomorrow by the Honolulu City Council at 10:00am.

If adopted, Resolution 13-74 would aid the Honolulu Police Department as well as law-abiding gun owners, requesting HPD open new locations for permitting and registration at the Kapolei and Kaneohe Police Stations.

It would further direct the administration to form a working group to address this issue that would include stakeholders among others. Gun ownership on Oahu has been on the rise as it has been across the nation.  With this increase, the Honolulu Police Department has continually been overburdened causing delays for those seeking to exercise this constitutional right and comply with Hawaii law.

Please either e-mail or fax your testimony in support of Resolution 13-74 CD1 to the Honolulu City Council and attend the hearing to speak if possible.

Information on how to testify or submit testimony can be found here.

It is amazing, the grass roots action being taken at local levels to protect the Second Ammendment all the while at the federal level there is nothing but bills to castrate the Second Ammendment.
