NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- The newest recipients of NSSF’s Five Star status bestowed on elite shooting facilities are NSSF member ranges in Alabama and Wisconsin.

A Five Star Rating reflects a range’s excellence in all aspects of management and operations–appearance, management, customer service, amenities, customer development and community relations.

Selwood Farm, in Alpine, Ala., bills itself as a “Sporting Clays & Hunting Preserve.” “For parties or families looking for an enjoyable, multi-day event,”

Zach Snow, NSSF manager, shooting promotions, said after making an on-site inspection, “Selwood offers everything from first-class upland-bird hunting to fine-tasting Southern cuisine and rustic housing accommodations.”

Bill’s Gun Shop and Range, in Hudson, Wis., was also inspected by Snow. The renovated cinema has become a first-class retail store and shooting range, said Snow, and now this facility joins its sister ranges in Robbinsdale and Circle Pines, Minn., as Five Star ranges.
