ACCOKEEK, MD –-(Ammoland.com)- Team Benelli 3-Gunner and reigning 3-Gun Nation (3GN) Champion, Keith Garcia held off a solid challenge by Greg Jordan and fellow Team Benelli member, Taran Butler, to win his second 3GN Pro Series match in two years.

Winning four of the match’s six stages, including the finale, Garcia outpaced Jordan by approximately three-and-a-half seconds.

Garcia led the final 3GN Pro Series match wire-to-wire to win $5,000 in prize money. Butler took two stages and finished third for the third time this season, earning a $2,000 payday.

Garcia’s background and experience as a 20-year California police officer veteran has served him well in competitive shooting.

“There is no doubt my Law enforcement training provided me with a solid base,” said Garcia. “But I was introduced to competitive shooting by a fellow SWAT Team member and that is really what made me the shooter I am today.”

The 3-Gun Nation Pro Series is the first of its kind, featuring top shooters who all compete in the same division—Tactical Optics—in a heads-up points race to qualify for the season-ending finale held in Las Vegas in January 2014. The final match will feature the top 30 qualified shooters from the series who will compete in man-on-man shoot-offs in a seeded bracket to determine the final winner. The 2013-2014 3-Gun Nation Champion will receive $50,000 in prize money. Other Team Benelli shooters who qualified for the Shoot-Off in Las Vegas, include Taran Butler and Ben Fortin.
