USA --(Ammoland.com)- Somewhere, everyday in the USA, 2100+ people use a gun for self defense, to stop a crime or save the lives of themselves or their family.

“We believe that the American public deserve to understand that on the average, guns save 2,191 lives and are used to thwart crimes every day,” says Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation

Most times you won’t see these tales on the news as it does not fit the main stream media’s story line of “Guns and Gun Owners are Bad“.

This is just one of those stories;

An 85-year-old woman was asleep at home in Orangeburg County, S.C. when she awakened to the sound of her dog barking. The woman retrieved a gun, went to investigate, and discovered an intruder inside her home.

The woman asked the intruder, “what are you doing in my house?”

The criminal refused to answer or move, prompting the woman to fire at the home invader, which caused him to flee. (The Times and Democrat, Orangeburg, S.C. 10/01/13)

    1. Similar happened in San Antonio. A breakend through the patio door. Husband and wife went to investigate the noise. Husband asked “What are you doing in my house?” Wife, who had retrieved a shotgun, said “BANG!” Invader will no longer be a problem! God bless 00 Buck Shot!

    2. The idea is to shoot them so they never live to do this again, not scare them away. Now they know you have a gun for them to steal. Dead men commit no crimes.
