BEAVERTON, Ore. –-(Ammoland.com)- Leupold & Stevens, Inc., is partnering with the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association to recognize Hometown Heroes for their service.

Hometown Heroes are the men and women of our armed forces, first responders and other everyday people who put service before self. Honorees receive complimentary game tickets, in-game recognition and gifts from the Trail Blazers and Leupold & Stevens, Inc.

Since the launch of the NBA regular season, three heroes have been recognized at Trail Blazer home games: Sgt. Benjamin Herrmann from the Oregon National Guard, Officer Paul Meyer from the Portland Police Bureau and TSgt Brett Burdick from the Oregon Air National Guard.

“The Portland community has been our home since the company was founded in 1907,” said Rob Morrison, Vice President of Marketing for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “We owe these brave individuals so much for all they do to protect and serve our country and community.”
