Tulsa, Oklahoma –-(Ammoland.com)- Over 340 shooters from around the world competed in IDPA’s crowning event, the 2013 IDPA National Championship, on September 17-21, 2013.

Team Rangelog was there as well, with great showings by teammates Morgan Allen and Colleen Vaccaro.

Team RangeLog’s Morgan Allen had an impressive performance over 17 courses of fire and was awarded the Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP) 1st Place Master, with a total score of 240.85 (62), finishing in 2nd place overall within the ESP Division, and 3rd across all divisions and all shooters attending the match.

When asked about the match, Morgan said, “This match had a much greater share of technical shooting and challenging shots than in prior matches. Learning to be able to vary your speed and evaluate what options are the best ones for you in a particular stage definitely gave an advantage to those who’ve worked that into their training.  I’d like to thank my sponsors who’ve made my participation possible: Rangelog, Team ITI, Safariland, Abernathy Gun Works, Rainier Ballistics, 5.11, and many others.”

Morgan’s teammate, Colleen Vaccaro had a great showing as well.  Colleen’s final score of 345.90 (88) was good enough to best all but two of the women attending the match.  With a field of 30 women, Colleen’s performance was exceptional considering that just last year she was one of the top Juniors in the game.

When asked about challenges associated with shooting a national level match, Colleen responded, “Nationals proved to be challenging as the match pressure was increased by the difficulty and tightness of the shots. You need to train for those tight shots and also have had the confidence in their equipment and abilities to perform. I am most thankful for my sponsors like Rangelog, Safariland, XX2i, Glock Triggers, Vertx, and all the others that have given me this opportunity.”

Team RangeLog would like to thank Team ITI, Hodgdon, Zeiss, Predator Tactical, Rudy Project, Raptor Performance, Vertx, Lone Survivor Foundation, 3 Gun Nation, Accuracy, Performance & Function as well as Burwell Gunsmithing for their support and sponsorship this season.
