Ovid, New York –  -(Ammoland.com)- Families are invited to see representative democracy in action this Sunday.

Children are welcome when New York State Assemblyman Bill Nojay, radio talk show host, leading opponent of the NY SAFE ACT and supporter of New Yorkers’ Second Amendment rights speaks at United Gun Owners of Upstate New York’s December meeting.

While voting “no” on t he SAFE ACT, Mr. Nojay predicted :

“The SAFE ACT will become the most widely opposed, and subject to the most civil disobedience, of any statute passed by this body. ”

Recent events , including the Cuomo administration’s refusing to release registration data, are proving the Assemblyman’s predication to be accurate.

United Gun Owners of New York State is a grass roots, all volunteer organization working for the full repeal of the NY SAFE ACT. Membership is open to all supporters of the Second Amendment, whether or not they own firearms, without cost.

The meeting will be held on Sunday , December 8th 2013 , 2:00 pm, at the South Seneca Sportsmen’s Club, 6894 Yarnell Road, Ovid, New York, 14521. T he public and press are encouraged to attend. https://www.facebook.com/UnitedGunOwnersOfNewYorkState . @GunOwnersofNYS.

About United Gun Owners of New York State
On January 15, 2013 New York State adopted the Secure Ammunition and firearms Enforcement Act (NY SAFE ACT) as a legislative priority of Governor Andrew Cuomo. This ACT was pushed thru in the night and caught gun owners by surprise. Gun owners were livid, and were not sure what to do about it. Pro-gun Organizations, Legislators, and Attorney’s across the state immediately stated petitions and class action lawsuits. A couple of local gun enthusiasts were sitting around discussing this and decided that someone had to try and organize all the groups in the state so that gun owners could fight back with a united front. They formed the United Gun Owners of NYS. The organization is made up of all volunteers. There is no President, no treasury, and has no paid members. Anyone who would like to volunteer to help can sign up at one of our monthly meetings. ALL gun owners and families are invited. Visit: https://www.unitedgunownersofnewyorkstate.com/

I wish you would make some noise down here in NYC.
The legislature must make a Unified State Weapons Law. enough is enough.
What ever comes out of these law suits should be applied to all counties period.
