New Jersey --(Ammoland.com)- The leaders, members and supporters of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society are very pleased to announce that Mr. Jeremy Perez has accepted the award of being honored as a New Jersey Second Amendment Society LIFE MEMBER.

This is a special designation that must be earned. We believe that the litigation that Jeremy brought against Paterson, NJ and that was successfully argued by the firm of Evan Nappen and Louis Nappen represents a clear victory over those who persist in believing that the rights of the people do not matter.

In our estimation, Jeremy’s success marks the beginning of the end of the “reign of terror” over the legitimate rights of individuals to exercise responsible firearms ownership in the state of New Jersey. Municipalities can no longer simply make up their own rules as they go along. They are just as responsible (if not MORE so) to obey the laws of our state as the residents.

So kudos to Jeremy for standing up for his beliefs and kudos to the firm on Evan and Louis Nappen for their brilliant handling of this case. We can look forward to a much better environment of cooperation between the firearms owner of New Jersey and the various municipalities throughout the state.

CONGRATULATIONS AND MANY THANKS TO NJ2AS LIFE MEMBER – JEREMY PEREZ!
