Colorado –-(Ammoland.com)-  On Monday, February 10th, the Colorado House State, Veterans and Military Affairs Committee will consider HB 14-1151, sponsored by Representatives Chris Holbert and Lori Saine.

This bill will repeal the draconian magazine ban of 2013, which limits magazine capacity to 15 rounds.

Please make sure that you are there to show your support for the Second Amendment at the committee hearing. The hearing will be at the Colorado State Capitol (200 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80203), Old Supreme Court Chambers, at 1:30 p.m.

It’s very important that gun owners turn out for the hearing in large numbers. If gun owners don’t show up, it will only embolden the left.

While it may be a tough fight with the current makeup of the legislature, remember that the politicians aren’t going to listen to us until we MAKE them listen.

Contact the committee and tell them to vote YES on HB 14-1151, and that government has no business telling Coloradans how many rounds they can have in their magazines to defend themselves and their families.

In addition to my previous remarks I must inform you that Mr. Brown of rocky Mountain Gun Owners is considered to be extremely destructive in Colorado firearm fights by the NRA and nearly everyone in politics and that includes those in our government at all levels including those who are 100 percent behind the Second Amendment. His efforts seem geared to take credit (and membership money) for the efforts of others. He tried to take some credit for the successful recall of the two Colorado Senators –but the facts are he was specifically told by those groups they did NOT… Read more »

This law also technically limited police guns too and for THAT reason may succeed–or we could end up with a revision that exempts them only.

Actually this is a soft target (maybe an effort to get reelection votes for 2014) to try to reverse–what those in power need to repeal/modify is the private transfer 4473 registration law. Also, in Colorado law they do not reverse these laws, they simply try to pass bills/laws that state things differently since trying to reverse or void requires 60 percent of the assembly–and that will never happen.
