New Berlin, Wis. --(Ammoland.com)- Spear in hand, Tim Wells, host of Relentless Pursuit, finds himself in the middle of a cape buffalo stampede in Mozambique, Africa, wishing for better odds.
The stakes are high on Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor television for the American sportsmen and sportswomen, as these African giants suddenly turn deadly. Wells’ spear must be true or his life will be endangered on this high-intensity hunt through Africa. Don’t miss this week’s episode of Relentless Pursuit, exclusively on Sportsman Channel Friday, Feb. 28 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Cape buffalo may appear non-threatening from afar, but Wells warns of the danger they present to hunters – especially when hunting with a spear. The extreme nature of the hunt doesn’t stop Wells from taking action as he soon discovers the open landscape of Mozambique leaves little room for error in his quest for the perfect buffalo.
“Being so close to a herd of buffalo is an exhilarating feeling,” said Wells. “Especially when the herd turns and heads straight for you.”
Wells continues hunting for cape buffalo, but must re-evaluate his hunting strategy when a pack of baboons threatens to ambush him. Quick thinking and agility might be what Wells needs to avoid losing sight of his prized buffalo. “It’s all about waiting for just the right moment,” continued Wells. “There’s no time and nowhere to hide during a hunt like this.”
