The legendary gun designer will be at the Coonan Inc. table #301 at the Brownells Gunsmith Conference and Career Fair, on Tuesday, April 2nd only at the Marriot Downtown in Des Moines, IA.
Use this opportunity to shake the hand that fired the world’s first .357 Magnum Automatic, and get and autograph from the innovator whose work changed the 1911 industry.
“I really enjoy talking to the younger gunsmiths and firearms fans,” says Dan Coonan. “Our industry’s getting older, and we need fresh blood to keep us relevant.”

I am looking to buy a Coonan .357 Magnum Compact (stainless), thing is I’m a left handed shooter. Would a right hand to left hand conversion be possible? Both slide release and safety. If so, who do I talk too?
