Texas – -(Ammoland.com)- CATI-TX, TC, and OCT are proud to announce a joint rally in support of Red River ranchers whose land is being threatened by the Bureau of Land Management.
Vowing to ensure that Texas doesn’t experience a repeat of the gross, unconstitutional overreach by the BLM in Nevada, the rally will bring together hundreds of Texans and Oklahomans from across their respective states.
The “Gathering of the American Patriot Rally” will be held on May 24th 2014, beginning at 1pm in the Wichita Falls, Texas, area in coordination with area authorities and law enforcement to ensure a safe, legal event. Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring their lawfully carried rifles, shotguns, pre-1899 replica revolvers and concealed handguns to the event.
“We believe that an armed society is a polite society,” said Open Carry Texas President CJ Grisham. “To quote Robert Heinlein, ‘manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life,’ as shown in Nevada recently where armed patriots peacefully convinced the BLM to rethink their actions.”
