Wenatchee, WA – -(Ammoland.com)-  No April fooling!  Northwestern Outdoors Radio  is proud to announce on April 1st that KVAS AM 1230, broadcasting country music and more to listeners in Astoria and Warrenton, Oregon as well as Ilwaco, Washington, will be broadcasting our hour long show every Saturday morning from 8 AM to 9 AM starting April 12th!

Broadcasting where the Columbia River meets the Pacific, the region KVAS AM 1230 covers is rich in fishing and outdoor recreation to include world famous salmon fishing opportunities, great clamming, crabbing and access to two of the finest state parks in the Northwest for both camping and outdoors fun, Fort Stevens State Park and Cape Disappointment State Park!

With the addition of KVAS, Northwestern Outdoors Radio is now airing on 55 stations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana and is one of the five most widely distributed outdoors radio shows in the nation.  John Kruse is the host and producer of the weekly broadcast that covers fishing, hunting and a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities throughout the Northwest.  John is joined on the show by David Sparks who shares his Sportsman’s Spotlight courtesy of the Ag Info Network and by pro-guides and staff members with Mack’s Lure Company, who highlight NW fishing opportunities every week during the Mack’s Minute.
