USA --(Ammoland.com)- Somewhere, everyday in the USA, 2100+ people use a gun for self defense, to stop a crime or save the lives of themselves or their family.

“We believe that the American public deserve to understand that on the average, guns save 2,191 lives and are used to thwart crimes every day,” says Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation

Most times you won’t see these tales on the news as it does not fit the main stream media’s story line of “Guns and Gun Owners are Bad“.

This is just one of those stories;

Two men, one of whom was armed with a rifle, entered Sami Quick Stop in Youngstown, Ohio and attempted to rob the store.

The clerk on duty retrieved a gun and fired it at the criminals, striking one and causing both to flee.

Police captured the robbers a short time later. A local media outlet has reported that the police have called the shooting justified. (WKBN, Youngstown, Ohio, May 22, 2014)

  1. Stories…like this one…give liberals the “runs” and nightmares, then they have to see their “shrink” and get more of their antidepressants and “happy pills”.

  2. Chalk one up for the good guys and in good old Youngstown where I grew up! The two teen products of the Youngstown school system in Democrat controlled Youngstown used a sawed off Remington .22LR rifle. These two geniuses even sawed off the bottom of the trigger guard! Looks like federal non-registered SBR charges will also be coming their way.
