Fairfax, VA — (Ammoland.com)- Shaneen Allen is living a nightmare.

The Pennsylvania resident and lawful gun owner of one week fell prey to New Jersey’s strict gun laws and was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm in the state.

While the single mother of two young children is facing up to three and a half years in prison, one New Jersey lawmaker is trying to correct this miscarriage of justice.

Assemblyman Ron Dancer has introduced “Shaneen’s Law,” legislation that would give judges the option of not sending citizens like Shaneen Allen to prison.

    1. These politicians do want to send this girl to prison. If blubber butt Chrstie dont do nothing she will go to jail. She is their example. I’m sure they would had preferred it was a white, 37 year old male,NRA member, from the south though.

    2. Her first mistake was taking a weapon into a gun grabbing state. Her second was opening her mouth and telling the cop she had it. If you know you are breaking the law, and she should have, best to keep your mouth shut and get the hell out of Dodge when you can.
