USA --(Ammoland.com)- Somewhere, everyday in the USA, 2100+ people use a gun for self defense, to stop a crime or save the lives of themselves or their family.

“We believe that the American public deserve to understand that on the average, guns save 2,191 lives and are used to thwart crimes every day,” says Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation

Most times you won’t see these tales on the news as it does not fit the main stream media’s story line of “Guns and Gun Owners are Bad“.

This is just one of those stories;

An armed man entered Innovative Optique in Bayside, Wisc. and attempted to rob the store.

An employee responded to the threat by retrieving a gun and firing at the criminal, striking and killing him.

An investigation revealed that the deceased was convicted of a 2010 armed robbery in which he targeted two people travelling in a car.

Innovative Optique experienced another attempted robbery in 2009. (The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Milwaukee, Wisc. 08/15/2014)

    1. Honest Law abiding American Citizens that do have CCW License, and carry a hand gun, do save lives nearly everyday in America! The lme stream media does not won’t the American People by and large to know this information! It’s right of the Communist Manifesto People!

    2. By open carry ,you let everyone know you have a gun. That means you are a threat to a criminal and you will be the first to get shot. Concealed masks the fact you have a gun, giving you the chance to use it if the chance arises. If you can’t draw it without drawing attention to yourself, you lose the element of surprise. Just because you carry a handgun, doesn’t mean you have to use it if doing so will get someone else shot.
