New Jersey –-(Ammoland.com)- This past Saturday, September 27, 2014, the President of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS) was recognized by the Second Amendment Society (SAF) and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms {CCRKBA) as the “Gun Rights Activist of the Year”.

The award was given in recognition of the achievements that the leaders, members and supporters of the NJ2AS have accomplished this past year. This is a coveted award which is intended to recognize superior achievement in gun rights activism.

Receipt of this award reflects the hard work and contributions of all of you who have helped us move our mission forward.

“I was very proud to accept this award on your behalf and on behalf of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society.

I am a born and bred NJ resident who has a collectors interest in firearms.My work in a union craft was my living for 32 years. Never have I been arrested or in any trouble with the law nor had any incidents of domestic violence. Being of sound mind and capable of making logical assessments, one might think, this man should have no problem engaging in his lifelong interest in historic firearms, going to the range and protecting him home.
