Ohio –-(Ammoland.com)- We told you yesterday that Buckeye Firearms Foundation has launched our new membership program.
By this morning, so many people had joined, our credit card merchant account actually SHUT US DOWN!
If you tried to join today and got a message about a “restricted account,” that’s what was going on. You can try again after we get this issue resolved.
If you’ve already joined and have received a receipt and membership confirmation, you’re fine. No need to do anything. We’ll ship your membership card in the next week or two.
They say they shut us down for our own security. Riiiight. The truth is, they simply can’t believe that there are THAT many people who support the Second Amendment. So they are asking us to prove we are who we say we are and that all those membership transactions are legitimate.
That will be easy because we’ve been fighting for the Second Amendment for a decade. And we’re not going to let some bean counter stop us.
We’ll have the system back up and running as soon as possible. And when we do, we’ll let you know right away.

No merchant would shut down a door on incoming business
best opinion poll ever! go to another source and see if you can take down two card companies, maybe another landslide “yes” just let us know out here.
I do not live in ohio , do my state have a similar program
If this is true, maybe they should shop for a new bank or whoever they have contracted with to process credit card transaction. Better yet how about the name of the company so they avoided by others!
I called the BBB of Ohio and there is no listing for this group.
No merchant would shut down a credit card machine due to the over whelming number of use.
Buckeye firearms is a legit group for many years. Have made a difference in ohio gun laws, school safety, shooting classes etc. rest easy. They are a good group. If a sudden change happens in a company’s income etc, credit companies are leery with good reason.
Get a new credit card merchant . Gun owners should start a pro gun banking system .
