WASHINGTON, D.C.--(AmmoLand.com)- Firearms Policy Coalition issued the following statement in response to the passage of the “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act” (S.2938):

In contrast with the Supreme Court finally giving force to the pre-existing human right to keep and bear arms, some Senate Republicans rushed to aid the enemy in the passage of the “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act” in the dead of night. Mere hours later, the House hurriedly placed its stamp of approval on legislation expressly intended to undermine constitutionally protected rights.

With today’s final passage, this legislation—more appropriately captioned “The Great Concession of 2022,” thanks to the quisling Republicans who conspired with authoritarian Democrats to enable this outcome—will head to President Biden’s desk for his certain signature.

Let us be clear: If the government uses this legislation to unconstitutionally infringe upon the rights of peaceable people, FPC and FPC Law will aggressively respond as necessary to protect the rights of the People and seek every available remedy.

The Senate Republicans who conspired to pass this immoral legislation are:

Blunt (MO), Burr (NC), Capito (WV), Cassidy (LA), Collins (ME), Cornyn (TX), Ernst (IA), Graham (SC), McConnell (KY), Murkowski (AK), Portman (OH), Romney (UT), Tillis (NC), Toomey (PA) & Young (IN).

With luck in the upcoming election Murkowski’s political head will finally go on a spike

Boris Badenov

I’d prefer she be tied to a tree in Alaska for the bears to feed on.

incorrigible

What? You want the bears to get sick?!

Rockman1977

I can see that Cornyn has stabbed us in the back for the last time. Conservatives in our area are pissed off. It’s not a good idea to be tied to Cornyn at this point. What a shame, he showed his true colors and they match the Democrats. A Texas Turncoat..

Bill

TEXIT

TGP389

Texit… Love it! I guess we need to Flexit.

TGP389

Several times lately Cornyn showed his inner blue. He’s a piece of dirt in my estimation.

jukk0u

I’m guessing that some retirement funds were padded as incentive.

swmft

something they should be jailed for

Knute Knute

And something that people WERE jailed for in past eras. When we were a Constitutional Republic. Since we became a de facto “democracy” not so much… In fact, pretty near to zero. The only ones that get punished now are those that try to fix the blatent criminality in Washington, D.C., like James Trafficant.

They can be hired as lobbyists or “board members” at huge salaries, or “write” a book no one wants to read but somehow magically sells 100,000 copies – all common retirement-reward techniques.

personally I expected as much from McConnell. He has been stabbing Kentucky in the back for years, McConnell knows this is his last term in office, like Biden, McConnell only has his own interests at heart, and doesn’t care about who he hurts in the process. McConnell will be voted out in his next election, just like Biden, but there is no telling how much damage he will do to Kentucky and the rest of the country. I guess now you can kiss Kentucky being a pro gun & 2A Sanctuary goodbye….

i guess you choose not to remember how he help block AWB 2.0 after Sandy Hook in 2013. Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Russn8r

i guess you choose not to remember how he help…”

Sad sack snark from 0-IQ-RION.

To expect anything different out of the republican party would be like pissing into the wind. The clear message is that the republicans do not want to be the party in power. They seek a one political party government that appoints members rather then going throw the election process.
“Election Fraud” now the alternative process, it has begun and will go unchallenged by those in Washington. Voting will become a formality with results that support the global agenda .

“Say It Ain’t So”

like venezuela russia china

jukk0u

“will become”? That ship has sailed.

swmft

only vote that will count comes out of gun

Bill

Republican establishment = democrat lite!

Knute Knute

Democrat equals bought and paid for.
Republican also equals bought and paid for.
Politicians that aren’t bought and paid for equals zero.
It’s a pretty simple algorithm.

Russn8r

Politicians that aren’t bought and paid for equals few, not zero.

Montana454Casull

We need to go back to tar and feathering so these clowns get the picture , a heavy coat of black tar followed by a role in a large pile of feathers should do the trick ! They will not be able to hide what they are till the tar and feather wear off then .

Russn8r

Nice sentiment, but no effective ACTION item. Why bother naming “Republicans” who are retiring anyway?

hippybiker

Russ, they’re giving us a goodbye F*ck you! Scum of the Earth, the6 are!

swmft

would be nice if the people from their area chased them out of town to say comifornia

hippybiker

It would be nice to see some heads on Pikes!

Boris Badenov

F that, we have enough nut cases, one of which has aspirations of infesting the White House. “I’ve been out there sweeping the streets” yeah on the way to the French Laundry to get his donations lined up from the people he’s shoveled Billions of our tax dollars to.

swmft

Russn8r

Cali is toast. Get out while you can.
