Connecticut Citizens Defense LeagueAbout the Connecticut Citizens Defense League (CCDL):

The Connecticut Citizens Defense League was formed in 2009 by a small group of concerned citizens as a non-partisan organization to advocate second amendment rights in the state of Connecticut. Since their founding, the group has grown to over 32,000 members from across the state. Thanks to this large supportive base, the CCDL has become a fixture at the state capitol, and well-recognized by committees that see firearms related bills. As the go-to organization in the state they are consulted regularly by lawmakers who have questions and concerns about pending legislation or existing laws. Then as well could you bring suit against Samsung and Apple for kids killed in auto accidents while texting? How about alcohol companies for drunk driving or the automotive industry as well? Why stop there, fast food for obesity, Boat companies for drowning victims…etc. etc.

BigJim; How True that is why Lawful Protection Act is on the books!

Tionico

If SCOTUS goes FOR the state and against Remington, it is bad news for Ford.. becaus they can now be held liable, along with Home Depot, because they built, then rented, the Ford pickup a guy used to mow down a few dozen folks on a walk/bike path in Manhattan. And Internaional and Enterprise truck rental because they supplied the “means’ that took down the Murrah building in Kansas City….. or was that OK City? Same principle.

Nothing but pure ignorance in trying to change the laws to fit their sorry mad against gun owners. I am not sure there are many thinkers and doers in commieticut, mostly followers. It wouldn’t hurt them to just leave us alone and mind their own miserable business.

Bill

What is this case about?

WP

@Bill: Libtard activist judges on the Kommiecticut Supreme Court decided that the Lawful Protection of Commerce Act doesn’t mean what it says, and that Bushmaster (Remington) can be held liable for whatever may have happened at Sandy Hook.

Witold Pilecki; This is what Libard activist judges want, JOB SECURITY, jamb the courts with Lawsuits and put everyone on governments total control! The insurance companies have been doing this for years with liability insurances!

Colie

You are so wrong! These judges apply the law baised on their feeling and not law or the constitution!!

Colie

Where is that lamp post and rope?
