I was thinking the same thing. Mako is wanting to sell their sight, get the eotch cheaply, then they will turn them in for full refund (plus shipping).
Not such a good deal unless you paid less for your EoTecn. EoTech will provide you a refund of your full purchase price through their return process currently ongoing. Most of the sights are going to be more than Mako’s offered $250-400 off of one their sights.
