I called the Taurus customer service department about the conversion kit. I was told that the product would ship out sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.
On several sites that I have looked at, including the Taurus "home" site, it lists the 822B as "dis-continued"!
I have an 845 and love it! There was no mention of price, either here or on Taurus' website. Any idea on cost?
Rich — look at their 2010 catalog (link is on their main web page). It describes the 822 and the .22lr conversion kit in detail. I haven't been able to find it in a store yet, but I called the company and they said it would ship "soon."
The Taurus website says nothing about the model 800 series conversion kit to fire .22 or even a 822 version. If there is such a thing as the kit, I would like to know where you can get it and I would immediately buy it for my 840
