Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)-  The Seattle Times is running a poll about two initiatives that will be on the ballot in the next Washington State election. Instead of two questions that the voters will face, the poll asks three, summed up thus:

It is very interesting that it is the third option that is currently getting more than half the votes: 610 votes, 50.88 percent.
The first option, essentially for ending private sales and setting up the framework for a statewide gun registry has 288 votes, or 24.02 percent.
The second option, which is pretty much the status quo, has 301 votes or 25.1 percent.
It appears that a lot of people in Washington state were educated during the gun control push in 2013, and they do not want infringements on the second amendment, even existing ones.

I like the sign. More guns=more death. Makes sense. Think of the advantages of more guns. More bad guys getting guns and being killed by guns, more irresponsible gene pool rejects being eliminated, more good guys with guns. Initially it would assist in population control weeding out the undesirables. Win Win! Once the weeding has occurred we as a species will be better off.
It is beyond asenine to think any criminal activity not reined in by the ocean of current gun control laws would be slowed stopped by new laws. The criminals committing thes crimes have already showed that breaking current law means nothing to them and all laws aimed at curbing their criminal activity would still mean nothing to them as they go on with their criminal activitys. Universal background checks are nothing more than a back door sneaky way to register as many guns as possible! then once registered tracking with the spying on law abiding Americans would be fairly easy… Read more »
It’s time for us to stop cudgeling our brains trying to make sense of the rationale of politicians behind the gun control issue. The truth is evident once you understand how politicians work and you follow the money. The politicians along with the pro-gun lobby and anti-gun lobby are locked in a pay to play. Politicians aren’t all that concerned about innocent life….DUH!!!! Look how they use our kids like cannon fodder in their wars for profit schemes. Background checks are an infringement of your second amendment right and a waste of taxpayer money. Background checks do not stop anyone that is intent on commiting a violent crime. Nor do they “protect” dealers. Background checks are only effective at keeping guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. The ATF will continue to expand the definition of prohibited possessor to exlude as many people as possible from buying a gun, whether or not they actually pose any danger. The use of form 4473 and background checks should be eliminated.
I don’t agree with registration at all, I’m not a moron. I do, however, support background checks but NOT universal background checks. Background checks are there to protect the dealers as much as anyone else. Tell me something fellow shooters: if you were selling a firearm privately, and obviously not requesting a background check, would you sell to some coked out fool or some pissant that had his pants around his knees?
