New Jersey –-(Ammoland.com)- There are of course a plethora of archaic, contradictory, unconstitutional and draconian firearms statues in New Jersey.
The ways in which the three branches of NJ government conspire to infringe upon our right to keep and bear arms is alarming and many times overwhelming.
SO I SAY, IN TRUE JERSEY FASHION “FORGET ABOUT IT”!
No, I haven’t lost my mind. In fact, I am doing what I do best – focusing on the highest priority. We could keep campaigning to stop the unnecessary, additional paperwork, or the processing delays, or the change of address requirements, or the duplication of fingerprints, or the gun buy backs or the so on, and the so forth. However, by doing so, we are diluting our resources to the point where there just aren’t enough people, funds or hours in the day to make much of a dent in any of it.
I have heard the admonitions about how the infringement occurred incrementally over many years, and that we should expect to have to remove them in the same fashion. “Forget about it”! I don’t know about the rest of you but I don’t HAVE that long.
At this point there is only one CENTRAL and CRITICAL need that must be addressed, and that is the need for individual NJ residents to be properly armed wherever they and their families have a right to be. At a time when Military experts are announcing that we live in the most dangerous times they have experienced, this should be a surprise to no one.
I will be focusing my attention on identifying effective approaches to curtailing New Jersey’s practice of threatening to incarcerate its residents for doing nothing more than exercising their CONSTITUTIONALLY protected rights. We would not stand for ONE MINUTE of it were they infringing upon the right to worship, speak, assemble, and so forth. Why should we allow the state to treat the right to keep and bear arms any differently.
Their use of and threat of incarceration for the “crime” of protecting one’s life, family, freedom and vital property is not just or lawful. While the state authorities readily admit that law enforcement is not equipped to adequately guarantee the safety of our individual residents, they actively prevent us from taking that responsibility upon ourselves. That is not acceptable.
I am calling upon all New Jersey resident who understand the importance of individual freedom and responsibility to join with me and the New Jersey Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS) to address this situation BEFORE it becomes an even more serious issue than it is today.

Don’t go there. Don’t shop there. Don’t live there. Don’t die there. Don’t pay taxes there. Don’t own property there. Don’t transport weapons there. Don’t be assaulted there. Don’t try to assert your God given or Constitutional rights there. NJ is waiting to take your freedom, and your assets if you break any of the above rules. Get out while you can, and leave the state empty so that the deaf and blind politicians can continue to pass anti-freedom laws that will affect only crickets and cockroaches. Every day you give your lunch to the bully, he will want more… Read more »
For all of you who are quick to say; “cut and run”, let me remind you that it is easy when you don’t live here, have hundreds of thousands of dollars invested here, have children in school here, have family here, maybe elderly parents here, etc. You get the picture. Just remember that “what happens in NJ, doesn’t stay in NJ”. Truly everyone in this country should have a vested interest in what happens in Socialist NJ for their own well being.
New Jersey is circling the bowl. Time to climb out before you get sucked into the septic tank.
As a former resident of the Peoples Republik of N.J., i am saddened by the way things just keep getting worse for its residents. PACK UP AND GO WHERE YOUR RIGHTS ARE STILL RIGHTS.
If you do not believe the state’s gun laws are contradictory, even unfathomable, contact the state Attorney General’s office and ask them a question. “Are original, antique flintlock muskets considered firearms in NJ? If not, why does one need a Firearms Purchaser card to buy one”? Wait till you find out how the AG handles this apparently simple request.
If your goal in life is to live better and live free then make a plan to leave. The best revenge is to say “I used to live there”.
I have always thought that New Jerkey Staten Policia, with their high-point German style hats, jackboots and cute little leather strap crossing their chest to support their holster, looked an awful lot like Nazi SS officers. Now I know why–They ARE NAZI SS OFFICERS!!!
What a great idea. You might want to emphasize this to the guy just sentenced to 7 years by the New Jersey legal system as well as those involved in the arrest, trial and sentencing. What a great place, “jersey.” You won’t catch me there, willingly.
Guns are more American than apple pie!
