Video produced for gun control group appears to show multiple felony violations of city and state law
Albany, NY -(Ammoland.com)- The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association would like to comment on a “Public Service Announcement” produced by the group States United to Prevent Gun Violence.
In the video, a realistic looking gun store was set up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and potential first time gun buyers were invited in.
“First off, the firearms and accessories hanging in the background do not appear to comply with either New York City law or the so-called SAFE Act,” said NYSRPA President Thomas King.
“Second, it is a felony violation of the Sullivan Act for a person to possess a handgun anywhere in New York without a license. The video clearly shows individual “customers” handling various handguns and doing so in an unsafe manner.”
NYSRPA calls upon Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to investigate the advertising agency which produced the video, Grey New York, for possible violations of city and state law.

Just my 2cents. They told half truths. If you going to start a movement called The Truth About Guns, you should tell both sides of the story. Telling a half truth is the same as lying. Sure Adam Lanza made poor choice a committed an atrocity, but how many soldiers fight and die and save each others life’s with an AR15 style weapons. Not to mention the rich histories of firearms. You can’t tell half stories. My children know better than pull that stunt.
Boxes of ammo are empty, guns are props I’ll bet. Probably had Cuomo’s, DeBlasio’s approval along with Bloomberg behind it. Everyone that entered the store was a neophyte too. A true “gun” person would have enlightened them. Don’t see any of that video.
if they was interested in reducing the violence, they would stop enabling criminals to work without fear, city after city with strict gun controls proves restrictions dont work..Chicago, NYC and Washington DC is proof that gun controls are failed policies, over 50% of they’re so called violence is suicides and 80% of of the other 50% is crime in gun controlled cities. if they want to.reduce crime, stop confiscating law abiding citizens guns!!!

Liberal Judges let liberal Media criminals go. I had 2 news reporters arrested at Pan Am for trespassing on company property they tried to gain access to an airplane at JFK airport . One judge sentenced them to 5 years probation and $5000 fine each. Later a Liberal Judge threw away the conviction as the reporters could not get passports to go overseas as felons.
