Franklinville, NY -(Ammoland.com)- Ontario Knife Company is proud to announce the promotion of renowned industry veteran Paul Tsujimoto to his new role as Vice President of Engineering.

In this senior executive position, Tsujimoto will continue his leadership of OKC’s efforts to design new products and update existing product lines while implementing continuous improvements to manufacturing processes and quality control measures. As Vice President of Engineering, Tsujimoto reports directly to the President and CEO of Ontario Knife Company and manages the engineering, drafting, and quality management teams.

Tsujimoto has more than 35 years of experience in the manufacturing industry including his previous role as Director of Engineering at Ontario Knife Company. Prior to rejoining OKC in December 2013, Tsujimoto held positions including Senior Engineer at Cutco and KA-BAR, Manager of Engineering at Ontario Knife Company, and Manufacturing Engineer at Camillus Cutlery Company. Tsujimoto holds a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology from the SUNY College at Buffalo.

Since rejoining OKC’s leadership team two years ago, Paul has partnered with senior management to implement the previously reported capital investment and plant expansion to OKC’s historic Franklinville, New York facility. His accomplishments include the building of a Drafting team and an expanded Quality Department, the adoption of cutting edge technologies including 3D printing for rapid prototyping, and providing engineering and design support for the launch of OKC’s new molding, machining, and tool works division. Additionally, Tsujimoto co-chairs the New Products Committee that has developed and refined dozens of new products during his tenure including the Best of the Best award winning Bushcraft Field Knife and the Agilite line of premium kitchen cutlery.
