SANTA ANA, Calif. -(Ammoland.com)- The National Rifle League (NRL), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting through a range of outdoors-related public interest activities, announced today its new program supporting regional and club matches across the nation, the NRL Club Benefits Program.
The NRL has been an active supporter of the Precision Rifle shooting sport. Setting a solid 2017 Season of National Level matches, the organization has begun its next phase of support, extending it out to the Regional and Club Level matches across the nation.
Through its program, the NRL is offering benefits to Rifle Clubs hosting local precision rifle matches, which are typically 1-day matches, and do not have big prize tables.
The benefits include: a listing of the club’s information on their website, giving shooters another resource to help them get involved in Precision Rifle shooting; and authorization to reward a $20 promotional code for a deserving individual to use towards a purchase on the NRL online store.
Shooter-athletes, range officers, and volunteers alike stand to benefit from this program as the match director decides on whom it should be awarded. NRL envisions the recipient will be a top performer, dedicated range officer, youth competitor, or new competitor.
“This program is designed to give back to the community, by encouraging people to get out and shoot, and participate at local club matches. Non-members can use this promotional code towards NRL merchandise or NRL Membership. NRL Members can use this towards purchases in its member’s section of the website, which includes discounted products from NRL sponsors,” stated Tyler Frehner, NRL Director of Match Operations.
Structured for sustainability of the Precision Rifle sport, the program allows the organization to share amazing moments with the community that are taking place at the club level.
“We want to celebrate the excitement of all aspects of the Precision Rifle sport, and are pleased to honor the drive, dedication, and community of local club/match level participants throughout the nation”, stated Travis Ishida, NRL president.
Match Directors hosting regional or club level precision rifle matches can head to the NRL Simple Process guide for more information on the program, or learn how they can get their club enrolled.
The NRL will continue to add the program’s participating rifle clubs on its website, so competitors will be able to use it as a resource to locate more local matches.
Competitors can find this list of local clubs by visiting, their website.
