LAS VEGAS, N.V. -(Ammoland.com)- FIME Group, LLC, manufacturer, importer and exporter of the finest, high-quality firearms from around the world, is now offering Nickel plated models of their REX pistols in Standard and Compact sizes.

The standard model REX pistol is now offered with a Nickel plated slide and black frame (REXZERO1S-08) or with Nickel plated frame, slide, barrel and black chrome hardware (REXZERO1S-06).

The standard REX is a 17-round, 4.25” barreled 9mm pistol with 5.7″ height and weighing 29 oz without magazine.

  • The 1S-08 model offers the same high end features as the original REXZERO1S with the addition of a Nickel plated steel slide (Nickel PVD) with solid bar stock. Its MSRP is $715.00.
  • The 1S-06 model features a Nickel Plated (Nickel PVD) T7075 aluminum frame made from solid bar stock with steel locking block insert, Nickel Plated (Nickel PVD) steel slide – solid bar stock, Black Chrome Hardware, and cold hammer forged barrel made from solid bar stock and Nickel Plated (Nickel PVD). It has an MSRP of $789.00.

FIME Group is also offering the Nickel plated options in the Compact model REX pistol line. The compact REX model is a 15-round, 3.85” barreled 9mm pistol with a height of 5.1 inches and weight of 25.12 without magazine.

  • The 1CP-08 model has the same specs and features as the REXZERO1CP except for the addition of the Nickel plated steel slide (Nickel PVD) with solid bar stock on a black frame. The MSRP is $715.00.
  • The 1CP-06 model also offers a Nickel Plated (Nickel PVD) T7075 aluminum frame made from solid bar stock with steel locking block insert, Nickel Plated (Nickel PVD) steel slide – solid bar stock, Black Chrome Hardware, and cold hammer forged barrel made from solid bar stock and Nickel Plated (Nickel PVD). Its MSRP is $789.00.

You are talking about a $450 pistol which runs $800 and up with shipping, taxes, and background check, and which lacks a network of parts supply and maintenance. it has no track record. It is not available to see ANYWHERE to handle or shoot. By all accounts it is a fine pistol to shoot but is far too heavy for carrying short of full combat load out.
