Illinois –-(Ammoland.com)- Our Spring auction was held April 26 & 27 2018 at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois in conjunction with the National Antique Decoy & Sporting Collectibles Show. The auction grossed $2.2 million, with 31 lots selling for over $10,000 and four lots selling for over $100,000.

The auction featured decoys from the collections of longtime decoy collectors Peter Brown, Dixon Merkt, Robert Personius, Doug and Ellen Miller, and Doug and Carol Whittington. All geographic areas were well represented, but the strongest included Illinois River, Ontario, and Mason Decoy Factory.

The sale produced three world auction records for makers; $212,400 for Robert Elliston, $41,300 for Adam Ansardi, and $10,030 for Marty Hanson.

Our summer sale will be held July 23 & 24 2018 at the Sheraton Harborside Hotel in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Quality consignments are being accepted until June 5 or until full.
