I really like my 4″ 9mm. Very easy to hit with. S&W got all the little things right with this pistol. The ergos are superb.
I loved mine with one exception: the 2.0 grip was way too aggressive for iwb carry. Also thpught the 2.0 trigger (much like the Glock gen 5 trigger) was a marketing gimmick. I found the trigger not significantly improved over the late “1.0” triggers.
I’m glad I stumbled upon this article. It validates my purchase of what is now my third S&W handgun. My first purchase was a Gen 1 Shield chambered in 9mm in 2017. My second is a 380 EZ purchased in 2018 and I now have the M&P 2.0 compact..While I have not taken it out to the range I’m so looking forward to doing so.
I am a hard core S&W owner. I have the M&P 40, M&P 45 3.0, 380 EZSlide, and my true favorite is the one I call my dirty Harry gun, the 6 inch 44 Magnum. I carry my 40 and my 45 as conceal carry. I really like the grips that S&W includes with the M&P’s.
GREAT GUNS!!!!
I have over 8,000 rounds through my 2.0 and not one jam or misshap
