Colorado: Assault Weapon Ban Pulled from Committee Agenda

Come and take it ar-15 NRA-ILA

Earlier this week, the House Judiciary Committee pulled House Bill 23-1230 (“HB 23-1230”) from the agenda thanks to the strong opposition of NRA members and Second Amendment supporters. The committee received thousands of messages opposing HB 23-1230, a bill that bans the manufacturing, importing, purchasing, selling, offering to sell, or transferring ownership of what the drafters have defined as an “assault weapon.”  No hearing is scheduled at this time, but the fight is not over yet. They are still likely to take action on this bill at some point this session, so we must remain vigilant!

Again, thank you to NRA Members and Second Amendment supporters who contacted their lawmakers in strong opposition to this anti-gun bill.

This may be a dumb question, but are we getting court costs or punitive damages awarded? These jackleswill just keep biting our ankles untill they are stopped.

Ok, now all you NRA Haters out there – time to give that state NRA Chapter it’s due! I know, I know, I hate Wayne LaPierre as much as anyone else on this and other websites – but – this is a small, but sound victory.

If the DemocRAT gun-grabbers somehow sneak this through later in the sesson, it will certainly be signed into law by Gov. Twinkie-Dink Polis. Then you can count on a lawsuit charging that the law is Unconstutional. And rightfully so, because it is !

Pulling a bill from a committee agenda doesn’t end the treat since it .ight be introduced at midnight on a Friday night. Don’t let down your guard. Educate the public because ” THEY” can commit a horrible crime when ” THEY” want and we must wait for them.
