In Glendale, Colorado, a 31-year-old man was shot and killed during an attempted robbery at the Top Colorado Pawn Shop on Thursday. According to reports, the alleged robber was on parole and had a criminal history, including a 10-year prison sentence for robbery in 2014. The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Daniel Bright.

The pawn shop employee who shot and killed the alleged robber was identified as a 45-year-old jeweler who had been in a different part of the store when the robbery began. The jeweler reportedly approached the robber from behind and shot the bad guy.

The employee took Friday off, stating that he needed time to recover from the incident.

The co-owner and manager of the pawn shop, Stanislav “Stan” Anisov, recounted the terrifying incident.

Anisov said the alleged robber came into the store minutes after it had opened, pointed a gun at the salespeople, and demanded that they open the jewelry case. Anisov expressed concern that the robber was not wearing a mask, saying, “Who knows, he might want to kill everybody.” Anisov also mentioned that someone had attempted to break into the store two weeks prior to the incident.

The shooting at the pawnshop highlights the growing need for law-abiding Americans to have increased ways to defend themselves and protect their loved ones. According to a recent report by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), there has been a significant increase in firearm sales in the United States over the past two years. The NSSF reports that gun sales have surged in states since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This surge in gun sales is likely due to the rising crime rates and the perception that law enforcement agencies are stretched thin due to budget cuts and defund-the-police staffing shortages. In some areas, police response times have increased, leaving citizens vulnerable and unprotected. As a result, many Americans are turning to firearms to protect themselves and their families.

Many Americans feel that they need to have the means to defend themselves. The recent shooting at the pawnshop in Glendale serves as a tragic reminder that we live in uncertain times and that individuals need to take steps to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Stay armed and vigilant.

I just love a happy ending!

i am sad, sad that the employee had to take the day off to recover from shooting this career criminal. he wouldn’t have had to shoot him if the criminal had been in prison like he should have been. thanks progs.

Dry gulched

Perchance they took a day off to celebrate.

Darkman

Current FBI data shows that legally armed citizens shoot and kill more violent criminals. Than are shot and killed by LE. Saving themselves from the danger presented by the criminal as well as saving the taxpayers millions of $$$. In situations like this a portion of that saving should be passed along to said person(s).

Too bad he didn’t live up to his last name….. Bright.

Norm

His nickname was “Notso”.

Dry gulched

But, but he was a good boy, trying to get his life together. He was going to barber college to get a decent job to support his 8 keeds.

FL-GA

Throw his body in a hole and plant a tree on top. It could be the first tree in a beautiful forest of similar “disposals”.

Justice served immediately is a hot dish with lead and copper it sounds like to me . Criminals need more hot meals like this .

Amazing that all the things Biden demands had zero impact on the felon with a gun. His death was a direct result of his decision to use a firearm to commit a crime and the employee did not take a life, Felon Bright forfeited his life.

Rock

“Bright” ironic, funny and now a dead CRIMINAL !

Logician

He looks to have been pretty strong and healthy, too bad he didn’t get out and plow the south forty for a living, because now he’s going to be BURIED in the south forty!!

No need for burial. It’s not a right… Just toss him where the vultures roam and let them clean up the mess.

Someone shake Joe to wake him up & let him know another one of his pesky White Supremacists was out there engaging in a gun crime…….& I don’t mean the employee.
