As much as groups like Moms Demand Action and Every Town for Gun Safety desperately try to recruit women into their politically driven anti-gun clubs, their attempts appear to be falling flat.
It would seem modern women have decided to take their safety and the safety of their families into their own hands. Responsible, smart American women are no longer buying into the notion that the cops will arrive to save you if you’re under attack. Women across America are rejecting the fear campaign perpetuated by the small group of anti-2nd Amendment, left-wing funded folks who are determined to make people vulnerable through unarmed helplessness.
Self-defense is not the only reason women have entered the ranks of gun ownership at an unprecedented rate. Sport shooting is an area that is quickly losing its reputation as the boy’s club and firearm training facilities are often found to be owned and run by women.

Annie Oakley would be proud to know that her legacy lives on in the modern-day American woman. I still wouldn’t want anyone shooting a cigarette out of my mouth, but as rumor has it, Annie’s husband, Frank Butler, felt quite confident of her shooting skills back in the late 1800s and let her do that.
Let’s look at the actual numbers. In 2021 a Harvard University study found that nearly half of all gun purchases between 2019 and 2021 were women. 42% of gun owners in America are women (a 14% rise over the previous five years.) The total number of women who became gun owners during that two-year period is almost 3.5 million.
In an article by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, it was said that “women accounted for about half of all gun purchases between 2019 and 2021, and that new gun owners are more likely to be female.” This, indicating the trends in firearm purchases moving forward.
Not surprisingly, the largest spike in gun sales occurred during and shortly after the violent left-wing riots in several cities across America in 2020. According to a survey conducted by Professor Matt Miller at Northeastern University, between January 2020 and April 2021, gun purchases rose from 13.8 million to 16.6 million. Almost 50% being women and approximately 5.4 million brought them into homes that had not previously had them.
According to FBI data, 39,695,315 total background checks were initiated with the National Instant Check System (NICS) in 2020. In other words, millions of folks who never previously chose to own a gun, quickly decided to dump the dangerous ideas pushed by the anti-gun lobby.
If you put people in danger, they will find a way to defend themselves and their families regardless of politics or gender. Women seem to be leading this effort despite the persistent rhetoric and demonization from anti-2nd Amendment activists.
The 2nd Amendment is not a privilege. It’s your right.

But wait… We’re not supposed to assume gender. Maybe they don’t identify as women.
ASS -U- ME I do not assume anything about gender. There are MEN and there are WOMEN. Anything else is a Mental Disability that needs to be dealt with but not here.
Two hens can’t make a rooster – two roosters can’t make a hen. Any other assumption is called “ABOMINATION”.
Or just fried chicken.
Guns are the ultimate leveler. The firearm, above all other tools, allows a smaller, or weaker, or outnumbered person to successfully take on, defend against and defeat a stronger, larger or more numerous adversary. Plus, women who can take care of themselves are hotter. 😉

Thank God for people waking up to the truth that their safety, and their famines too, belong to them. The idea that others know better how to protect you is a lie designed to keep us frightened, scared, unable to defend ourselves and dependent on others is nonsense. There an old saying cops are only minutes away but you only have seconds to chose what to do to protect your children. Would you rather give your daughter a phone to call for help when she’s about to be raped or the training and a gun to defend herself?
Women’s High School Rifle Teams were commonplace in the 20’s, 30’s and even well before then. Not ONE school shooting ever took place. Hmmmm? Must be no Prozac or Xanax available back then?
It’s well known that Democrats approve of guns for themselves, but not for you. That doesn’t “empower” the Second Amendment. Now prove to me that all these new women owners aren’t of the same mindset before telling me that they “empower” it, either.
It’s impossible to prove a negative. Take this at face value. My little county gun & rifle club has doubled in size over the past 5 years to 1035 as of last month. We only have 77,000 residents, probably 10,000 of those are Snowbirds who vote in other states. That means almost 16% of the entire county is a member. In the past 5 years we are seeing almost a 50/50 split of men and women joining. Those are the types of women that all you need do is plant a seed in their minds that they are actually acting like Conservatives but still claiming to be democrat… Try it an see how many begin to realize that they have become all growed-up and decide to make the transition to the Conservative side, AS A WOMAN!
