The political witch hunt against Donald Trump opened a new front in Atlanta Monday as Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis announced a 97-page indictment containing 41 felony counts against Trump and 18 other defendants, Fox News reports.
“Following the 2020 presidential election, Trump reportedly insisted during a phone call with Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger that he had won the state of Georgia. Trump urged him to ‘find’ enough votes to reverse the state’s results,” the report explains.
So what?
That is very different from asking Raffensperger to fraudulently add or suppress votes, and without a specific request or political pressure to do that, it’s just asking him to look harder and make certain all legitimate votes have been counted. That hardly matters though to a politically-motivated prosecutor who knows how to work the system and exploit the adage that “a grand jury could indict a ham sandwich”:
“Grand juries are the prosecutor’s babies. They decide who gets picked, what evidence gets presented, and what gets left out. There’s no judge, no defense attorney, and generally a defendant only testifies in rare circumstances — his story is so air tight that there’s no down side in putting him in. There’s no necessity for unanimity among the 23 or so jurors, and the standard of proof is so low — that probable cause exists to believe a crime has been committed — anyone, for the merest hint of an offense, can get indicted.”
This is the fourth indictment against Trump. Joined with the first three, one from Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg over Stormy Daniels, and two from Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith over Mar-a-Lago documents and January 6, the political advantages are clear: First, as the old saying about throwing a plate of spaghetti against the wall goes, something’s apt to stick, and second, even if it doesn’t, the timing is such that serious doubts will be raised (and amplified by mass media) about Trump’s fitness to be president among the electorate, and that’s the plan.
For her part, Willis is a Democrat with power, and one with a radical upbringing at that. She’s the daughter of a former Black Panther, we find, but precious little elaboration of that is being reported. Perhaps because in-your-face communism may play well in race-obsessed Democrat urban enclaves, but a politician who is ready for prime time still needs to have things toned down for Middle America, which isn’t (quite) ready for the more radical implications of the Panther’s ideology of “Black nationalism (early), Black power, Marxism–Leninism,] Maoism, Gun rights, Womanism, Anti-imperialism, [and] Intercommunalism.”
That bit about “gun rights” may be surprising to some, but the Panthers never meant them to be for everyone. The evolution of Illinois Black Panther Party co-founder turned Democrat Congressman Bobby Rush shows that. He went from serving six months for carrying a gun into a police station to being a politician who never saw a gun he didn’t want to grab.
Willis carries on the tradition of hypocrisy, and of blaming guns and gun owners for the violent aberrations that daily manifest themselves in Democrat constituent strongholds.
“People don’t seem to be able to get along in relationships and we have too many guns in the wrong hands and too much freedom to get guns,” Willis declared in a press conference about gang and domestic violence. “But this is a harsh reality if you are in a domestic situation and there is a gun present you and everyone around you is in more danger…”
That really depends on who has the gun, and one other critical factor those who portray themselves as “gun safety” advocates always ignore. As Washington Gun Law attorney William Kirk observes:
“So the answer is not as simple as ‘we just need to arm more women.’ Candidly, that alone would make a difference and likely save some lives. But, arming women with firearms education, training and experience, is how these tools can effectively reduce this problem. It’s not just about putting a bunch on guns in the hands of those what have never had a gun before. It’s not about putting guns in the hands of someone who is terrified with trauma caused by an abusive relationship. Instead it is about educating an entire generation of women the usefulness and effectiveness of firearms for protection. Create as many training opportunities for women as humanly possible. Give them opportunities to become familiar and comfortable around firearms. Give them all the training they need to use that firearm in whatever situation they may encounter. Do that and domestic violence would likely plummet.”
But Willis has her own agenda that has nothing to do with that, and with a chilling bottom line:
“I think we have to have some serious conversations about something that’s not popular. Everybody doesn’t need a gun.”
So it’s the Bill of “Needs” now, and Willis and other Democrat officials have appointed themselves the arbiters of who needs what…?
The thing is, she clearly thinks she needs them:
“Since the 2020 election, Trump supporters have dispatched such a high volume of threats that, while the Fulton County District Attorney has long had a protection detail, the group of officers protecting Willis is larger and continuous. When Willis goes to dinner or does some shopping or hits the gym before sunrise, her security detail is there.”
First, it hasn’t been established that there is a high volume of actionable threats, vs. racist insults, and without arrests, prosecutions and convictions, it’s impossible to tell if they came from genuine enemies vs. how many are actually hate hoaxes designed to fuel divisiveness and inflame racial tensions.
That said, even though a tax-funded “she’s got hers” attitude while attacking our rights is stunningly hypocritical, no liberty advocate would begrudge her armed protection—there clearly could be threats when political hot buttons are being pushed, especially when it’s being done deliberately and arrogantly. But protests are legitimately raised when someone who enjoys such security advantages tries to prevent the citizens who foot the bill from providing for their own defense, all the while lecturing them on what she dictates they need.
Trump is an avatar for his supporters. The ultimate targets for crackdowns are those who will not bend a knee and disarm.

There’s a weird issue here.
It’s easy to find out who her father is, former Black Panther John Clifford Floyd. What you can’t find from any online source is her mother’s name.
Why not?
Floyd dated Angela Davis at the correct era for her to be Mommy.
She looks “mixed race” so it’s unlikely she’s Davis’s daughter.
But I bet this stupid twat supports arming the IRS agent that shot and killed a fellow agent accidently at thier training facility . This is proof Democrats are complete idiots and the IRS idiots should not be armed . Democrats are idiots ³

“if you are in a domestic situation and there is a gun present you and everyone around you is in more danger”
Ask Polly Pryzybl how that worked out for her. Never mind, she’s dead.
“Everybody doesn’t need a gun.” is the logical equivalent of “Nobody needs a gun.” Except of course for protection details surrounding the ‘important’ people.’ These are the contemporary equivalent of the entourage that is popular amongst a certain culture in our society. For another example there have been plenty headlines about U.S. representative Cori Bush paying large sums of campaign money to her brother’s company that provides her armed protection.
Finer points of grammar are lost on many leftist women of color, as witness KBJ’s pronouncement that more than 100% of black babies were saved by the presence of black doctors.
Who are the closed minded,
that keep giving the thumbs down on your comments .Any one with 1/2 a brain knows the democrat MARXIST party and there ilk tampered with or exploited every thing they could to install the manchurian candidate! If you leave a thumbs down leave a comment and state your rebuttal as to why !
This board is infested.
Take the guns first, right?
so she’s a gun grabber going after another gun grabber. That has nothing to do with the merits or lack thereof of the case, which will be decided in trial according to our established judicial system. Normative rules apply folks; this ain’t Russia.
More like Uganda.
